Finlay Minerals (FYL.V) increased its 2026 drill program at the PIL property in British Columbia to 4,400 meters from 2,800 meters, the mineral exploration company said Friday.
Freeport-McMoRan Mineral Properties Canada is funding the additional drilling under an earn-in agreement over the property, Finlay said.
Finlay said it has completed three drill holes totaling 2,300 meters at the Gold and Reef targets.
The company added that it is funding exploration at its ATTY property.
Freeport may earn an 80% stake in both the PIL and ATTY properties by paying C$4.1 million cash and funding C$35 million in exploration work.
