-- France's private sector business activity declined at the fastest pace in 14 months as the service economy contracted while factory output and new orders increased, final data from S&P Global confirmed Tuesday.
The S&P Global France Composite PMI Output Index dropped to 47.6 in April from 48.8 in March, in line with the flash figure.
Also consistent with the preliminary estimate, the services PMI decreased to 46.5, its lowest reading since February 2025, from 48.8 earlier as new orders fell at the quickest rate since November 2023.
