The euro area's seasonally adjusted gross domestic product rose 0.6% in the second quarter, following zero growth in the prior three-month period, according to Eurostat's third estimate released Monday.
The latest reading compares with the second estimate of a 0.4% rise.
On a yearly basis, the region's economy grew 1.2% in the quarter, against the second estimate of a 1% expansion and the revised 0.6% increase previously.
