EuroSports Global's Scorpio Electric Secures Conditional Type Approval for Flagship E-Motorcycle

EuroSports Global's (SGX:5G1) subsidiary, Scorpio Electric, secured a conditional vehicle type approval from Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA) for Lambda Scorpii, its flagship smart electric motorcycle.

The move clears a regulatory hurdle ahead of the product's commercial launch, according to a Thursday bourse filing.

Based on the approval, the company will now focus on mass production and commercial deployment of the motorcycle after finalizing delivery timelines and test-ride bookings.

The company is also working with the Singapore Civil Defence Force on emergency response protocols for high-performance EVs. Additionally, it is working on the 2027 anti-lock braking system regulations, the filing said.

Beijing Balance Medical Technology (SHA:688198) plans to repurchase shares worth between 50 million yuan and 100 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Thursday.The company will buy back between 359,583 shares and 719,165 shares, which represents 0.26% to 0.52% of the company's total shares, within 12 months after the approval of the board of directors.The maximum repurchase price will be 139.05 yuan per share.The repurchased shares will be used for the company's employee stock ownership plan or equity incentives.The medical device manufacturer's shares rose 1% during the morning trade.
