Eureka Metals (ERKA.CN) completed its stripping and channel sampling program at the Roadside Target on its KM98 critical minerals project in Quebec, it said Thursday.
The company said mechanical stripping exposed approximately 100 meters of bedrock over an average width of 10 meters, revealing massive oxide mineralization.
The company excavated a 30-meter western extension to investigate the underlying geology and collected 39 channel samples across the exposed oxide-rich zone, it added.
Eureka Metals is also preparing to conduct its planned maiden drill program at the Hook Target, it added.
"We have now exposed a substantial area of oxide-rich bedrock and completed 39 channel samples to better understand the grade and distribution of mineralization," said Eureka Chief Executive Officer Daniel Matthews. "With drilling preparations continuing at Hook and channel assays pending from Roadside, we are advancing two distinct targets within the project."
The company's shares were last seen unchanged at CA$0.30 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
