Norwegian energy group Equinor (EQNR.OL) said Monday it agreed to supply over 30 terawatt-hours of natural gas annually to German peer Uniper (UN0.F) under a 15-year agreement.
Deliveries will run from Jan. 1, 2027 to Dec. 31, 2041, with gas delivered at the German gas market area Trading Hub Europe and pricing based on market terms.
The companies also entered into a non-binding letter of intent to explore potential sales from Equinor to Uniper of sustainability-related attributes linked to supplies under the new gas sales deal.
