Real estate investor EPH European Property Holdings (EPH.SW) proposed changes to the terms of its four listed bonds by converting them into zero-coupon bonds with increased redemption amounts and extending the maturity to Sept. 30, 2031.
The bonds have a total nominal value of 411.8 million euros. Under the proposed amendments, the redemption amounts would be set at 128.80% for two of the bonds, 122.14% for another, and 121.70% for the fourth bond, according to a Tuesday release.
The company said the proposed changes will strengthen its financial resilience and improve its ability to manage obligations, including repayment of the bonds.
Bondholders will vote on the proposed amendments at a meeting on Sept. 29. If approved, changes will take effect the same day.
