Eni (ENI.MI) said Tuesday it is aiming for a final investment decision in the next few months for the Denise West gas discovery in Egypt.
The Italian energy company is collaborating with British oil and gas company BP (BP.L) and Egypt's national oil company, Egyptian General Petroleum Corp., on the potential development of the project, with first gas targeted in less than two years.
The discovery in the Temsah Concession resulted from the offshore Mediterranean exploration drilling campaign launched in October 2025. The discovery was identified as suitable for fast-track development.
