Enbridge (ENB.TO, ENB), through a wholly-owned unit, agreed to buy Salt Creek Midstream's crude oil gathering business, for cash consideration of $600 million, it said in a statement on Wednesday.
The business comprises 100% of the Orla and Wink North systems and a 50% interest in the Delaware Crossing (DCX) system, it said. It also includes about 500 miles of crude oil gathering infrastructure located in the core of the Delaware Basin.
The company believes the acquisition will provide a direct strategic connection between crude oil production in the Permian Basin to export at Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center.
Enbridge's 2026 financial guidance remains unchanged, it said. Closing of the deal is expected later in 2026.
US-listed shares of the company were last seen up 0.2% at $49.85 in pre-market trading.
