EG Industries (KLSE:EG) subsidiary, Genetronic (Malaysia), signed a letter of intent with a U.S.-based firm to manufacture and sell high-performance open networking switches that use co-packaged optics technology (CPO), according to a Wednesday filing with the Malaysian bourse.
Shares of the Malaysian company rose nearly 2% in Thursday's midday trade.
