Edge Copper (EDCU.V) shares were last seen down 12% on Wednesday after it priced an overnight marketed offering of shares and concurrent private placement.
The marketed offering will sell up to 30.2-million shares at $0.58 apiece, for $17.5 million, while underwriters have been granted a 4.53-millon share over-allotment option.
Edge Copper will also carry out a concurrent non-brokered private placement of 4.82-million shares also priced at $0.58 for proceeds of about $2.8 million.
Proceeds from the financings will be primarily used to advance exploration and development of its the company's Zonia Copper project in Arizona.
Shares of the company were last seen down $0.08 to $0.58 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
