EBay (EBAY) has entered into a settlement to resolve civil litigation brought by David and Ina Steiner against the company, several former executives and employees, the company said Tuesday.
The litigation involves a cyberstalking and harassment campaign in 2019 against news site EcommerceBytes, according to a statement from law firm Scalli Murphy Law.
The settlement, which totals $55.7 million in compensation and charitable commitments, includes nearly $46.2 million in compensation and $6 million in charitable contributions from eBay and around $2.5 million total compensations from former company executives Devin Wenig, Wendy Jones, and Steve Wymer, according to the statement.
