East Side Games Q1 Revenue Falls 32%, Daily Active Users Decline 31%
East Side Games Group (EAGR.TO) after close Thursday reported first-quarter revenue of $12.5 million, down 32% year over year.The company said its daily active users stood at 145,581, down 30.5% on an annual basis, while average revenue per daily active user was $0.95, down 3.4% from the first quarter of 2025.ESGG said it continues to invest in two new, as of yet unannounced, titles, which are being funded through operating cash flow. Both games are currently targeted for launch in late 2026 and early 2027."With Q1 now behind us, we are focused on rebuilding our war chest, becoming debt free, and maximizing returns from our core portfolio," said chief executive Jason Bailey. "With the company now right-sized, higher-risk projects cancelled, and a focused capital markets strategy in place, I believe we are well positioned for a strong remainder of 2026."Shares of the company closed up $0.01 to $0.11 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
