E-L Financial (ELF.TO) after the close on Thursday reported Q2 net income of C$2.99 per share, or $1.01 billion, compared with C$1.07 per share, or C$365 million, in the prior year period.
The company also reported a net equity value per common share of $27.37 as of June 30, 2026. This marked an increase of 7.5% compared with $25.45 as of December 31, 2025 and an increase of 17.5% compared to $23.29 at June 30, 2025.
Company's shares closed down C$0.05 at C$16.94 on Toronto Stock Exchange.
