Dundee (DC-A.TO) on Thursday provided the fifth batch of assays from Westhaven Gold (WHN.V)'s ongoing 35,000-meter resource infill drilling program at the South Zone gold and silver deposit within the Shovelnose gold property in British Columbia.
Results include 10.04 meters grading 12.18 grams per tonne (g/t) of gold and 103 g/t of silver, which further extended the known mineralized envelope, Dundee said.
"Results such as these continue to build our confidence in the scale and strength of the mineralized system at Shovelnose and reinforce our enthusiasm for the ongoing drill campaign," Dundee chief executive Jonathan Goodman said.
Dundee has an option to earn up to a 60% stake in Westhaven's four Spences Bridge Gold Belt properties by funding C$85 million in project expenditures.
The company's shares closed up C$0.20, or 4.7%, to C$4.43 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
