Dundee Provides Infill Drilling Results from Shovelnose Project in British Columbia

By

Dundee (DC-A.TO) reported Tuesday infill drilling results from Westhaven Gold's (WHN.V) 2026 exploration program at the Shovelnose gold-silver project in British Columbia.

Results from an additional 10 drill holes from the South Zone deposit include 33.0 meters grading 14.0 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 78 g/t silver, including 8.12 m grading 47.56 g/t gold and 229 g/t silver and 24.63 m grading 9.51 g/t gold and 44 g/t silver.

Westhaven has completed 11,514 m of drilling within the South Zone deposit, representing nearly 33% of the planned mineral resource drilling program.

Initial drilling is focused on completing 35,000 m of mineral resource infill drilling at the deposit for an updated mineral resource estimate that will support a preliminary feasibility study, which is targeted for completion in the second half of 2027.

Dundee may earn up to a 60% interest in Westhaven's four Spences Bridge Gold Belt properties by spending up to C$85 million on project expenditures. Under the first phase, Dundee has committed at least $30 million, inclusive of a fully funded 50,000-m drill program at Shovelnose.

"The initial work is enabling us to better define the margins of the mineralized system and provides an important foundation for the next stages of technical work as we advance the project through the joint venture.," President and Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Goodman said.
