Dongwon Industries (KRX:006040) has provided a 460.0 billion won guarantee on affiliate Dongwon Construction Industry's debt of the same amount with Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance and five other institutions, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.
The guarantee relates to the completion of a new logistics warehouse in which the affiliate is a contractor.
The guarantee period will last until Dec. 25, 2028.
Shares of the seafood company rose more than 3% in recent trade.

Lendlease Global Commercial REIT (SGX:JYEU) was issued a tax ruling by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore for its SG$120 million 4.28% perpetual bonds, agreeing to treat the bonds as debt securities for income tax purposes.The retail and office trust said the distributions on the bonds will be regarded as interest payable on indebtedness, according to a Tuesday Singapore bourse filing.The bonds will qualify as debt bonds, allowing holders to the associated tax concessions and exemptions.
