Descartes Launches AI Agent to Deliver Quicker Trade Analysis

The Descartes Systems Group (DSG.TO) has launched a new conversational AI agent that could help reduce global trade data research and analysis time by up to 90%.

The Descartes Datamyne AI Agent answers user questions in seconds and provides dynamic visualizations and the underlying shipment records, Descartes said Thursday.

The AI agent covers 230 markets with over 500 million shipment records added annually, according to Descartes.

"By making trusted trade intelligence more accessible, the Descartes Datamyne AI Agent helps organizations understand where suppliers are gaining or losing activity, how product flows are changing, where market demand is emerging and how competitors are adapting," said Brian Hodgson, general manager for trade intelligence at Descartes.

Kinross Gold Lowers 2026, 2027 Gold Production Outlook

Kinross Gold (K.TO) after trade Wednesday lowered its 2026 and 2027 production outlook, now expecting annual attributable production of about 1.84 million to 1.86 million gold equivalent ounces, 2% to 3% under its prior targets.The change to the guidance is mainly due to extreme weather and operational challenges at two smaller mines, La Coipa and Round Mountain, the company said, adding that it expects to produce about 425,000 gold equivalent ounces in the third quarter.The company also said it now expects production cost of sales for 2026 of about $1,420 to $1,460 per gold equivalent ounce sold and all-in sustaining costs of about $1,850 to $1,900 per ounce sold."Reflecting its strong cash flow outlook and balance sheet strength, Kinross is increasing its return of capital target from 40% to 50% of free cash flow to shareholders for 2026," it added.

SonicStrategy Acquires 500,000 SYN Tokens

SonicStrategy (SONI.CN) said Wednesday it acquired 500,000 SYN tokens through open-market purchases for about $115,000.The digital asset infrastructure company said it paid an average price of about $0.23 per token.
