Decade Resources (DEC.V) has secured a drill permit for the Bonaparte copper-gold property in British Columbia, it said Tuesday.
The company is planning at least 3,000 meters of drilling which will include five to six holes, it said. The drill program is expected to help test for a buried porphyry copper-gold system, said President Ed Kruchkowski.
Drilling is expected to start once drill pads are built and is also subject to local forest fire conditions, added Decade.
"Drilling will also test the Discovery Area-Cooler Creek corridor to see if it represents a connected mineralized system with the large IP anomaly or if it is an isolated anomaly," Kruchkowski added.
