Cyprium Metals (ASX:CYM) said it has made material progress on the restart of its Nifty copper complex in Western Australia, with operational readiness and pre-commissioning activities now underway, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
A new acid terminal has been commissioned, and sulfuric acid deliveries to Nifty have restarted, marking the first deliveries in roughly two decades, the company said.
Cyprium Metals has also started hydro-testing across surface leach and injection leach programs, commenced firewater infrastructure construction, and commissioned a pit dewatering system at the project, among other areas of progress.
The company's shares fell 9% in recent Thursday trade.
