Crown Point Energy's (CWV.V) hydrocarbon exploitation concessions in the Rio Cullen, Las Violetas and La Angostura areas of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, expired on Aug. 18, the company said Thursday.
Crown Point's Argentine subsidiary Crown Point Energia (CPESA) held a 48.33% non-operating participating interest in these concessions. CPESA and other joint venture members entered into an agreement with Tierra del Fuego for a final settlement, closure and reversion of the concessions to the province.
Following Crown Point's acquisition of oil and gas assets in the provinces of Santa Cruz and Chubut, the Tierra del Fuego concessions were not material to the company and represented less than 5% of its total revenue for the six-month period ended June 30, 2026.
