-- Cropmate (KLSE:CRPMATE) said several bank accounts belonging to the company and one of its units were frozen by Malaysia's anti-corruption authority.
The action forms part of an ongoing investigation, which the group said is understood to be within standard regulatory procedures, according to a Monday Malaysian bourse filing.
The company stated it is fully cooperating with the authorities and is working to lift the freezing order through the appropriate legal channels. The board also noted that there is currently no evidence suggesting wrongdoing by its management or employees.
Cropmate added that its operations remain unaffected.
