(Corrects the first paragraph and headline to note that activity growth eased)
Thai manufacturing activity expanded at a softer pace in May versus the previous month, S&P Global said Tuesday.
The latest seasonally adjusted S&P Global Thailand Manufacturing PMI came in at 52.6, compared with 52.7 in April. The reading was the slowest improvement in manufacturing performance since July 2025.
While the output indicator rose at its weakest since May 2025, Thai manufacturers reported a stronger increase in new order intakes and improving business sentiment.
