Corpay (CPAY) said Friday it has agreed to pay the US Federal Trade Commission $100 million to settle previously disclosed marketing and disclosure allegations regarding its domestic vehicle payments unit.
The proposed resolution involves no admission of wrongdoing and imposes no personal financial penalty on the CEO, while maintaining a June 2023 federal court order, the company said.
Management expects no material impact on ongoing financial results from the agreement, which awaits final regulatory approval following a public comment period, Corpay said.
