CorMedix's (CRMD) last major customer for its DefenCath solution could buoy 2026 volumes and back franchise durability in 2027 and beyond, RBC Capital Markets said in a Thursday note.
DefenCath is intended to prevent catheter-related bloodstream infections in patients with end-stage renal disease and the last multi-year contract win with a large dialysis organization in the US indicates continued demand and should boost H2 order volume, RBC said, noting the drug's potential to top $199 million in 2026 revenue.
RBC also noted the company's upcoming supplemental new drug application for Rezzayo, which is currently a treatment of candidemia and invasive candidiasis, as a potential growth driver in 2027. Rezzayo's potential label expansion in prophylaxis could unlock a $200 million market opportunity for CorMedix, the brokerage added.
RBC raised its price target on CorMedix to $14 from $13, with an outperform rating.
