Coppernico Metals Launches C$5 Million Private Placement

Coppernico Metals (COPR.TO) seeks to raise C$5 million in a private placement to advance development of the Sombrero Project in Peru, the company said Thursday.

The company plans to use the proceeds to advance drill permitting and additional community agreements to support future exploration activities at the project, as well as for general corporate and working capital purposes.

The offering consists of 14,285,714 units priced at $0.35 apiece. Each unit will be comprised of one common share and one share purchase warrant exercisable at $0.50 per share for 24 months.

Closing is expected June 26.
