Copper Quest Exploration (CQX.CN) on Wednesday said it received an exploration permit for its Kitimat Copper-Gold project in northwest British Columbia.
The project covers 6,801 hectares within the Skeena Mining Division, it said. Copper Quest is sending a team of geologist to the Kitimat property this month to do a preliminary ground-proofing for planning near term geological mapping, sampling, and geophysical surveys and to refine priority drill targets as needed.
The company also has plans for a follow-up drill program, to test key targets within the interpreted geology and surrounding high-grade corridors.
Copper Quest shares were last seen down CA$0.005, or 5.6%, to CA$0.085 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
