Copper Fox Metals Raises C$2.6 Million Via Non-Brokered Private Placement

Copper Fox Metals (CUU.V) closed its non-brokered private placement raising C$2.6 million, it said late Tuesday.

The offering consisted of the issuance of 4.3-million shares at C$0.60 apiece. Proceeds will be used to continue exploration and development activities on its 100% owned projects and for general corporate and administrative needs, it said.

Four insiders of the company subscribed to a total of 3.1-million shares.

Shares of the company were last seen down 1.8% at C$0.55 on the TSX Venture Exchange.

First Quantum Minerals Swings to a Q2 Loss Even as Revenue Rises; 2026 Outlook Maintained

First Quantum Minerals (FM.TO) after trade Tuesday reported a Q2 adjusted loss of $0.13 per share, compared with adjusted earnings of $0.02 per share a year ago.Analysts polled by FactSet expected a loss of $0.06 per share.Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.52 billion, up from $1.23 billion a year earlier.Analysts expected revenue of $1.40 billion.The company said its 2026 guidance remains unchanged, however, it "continues to note a potential impact to C1 copper cash costs of approximately $0.25 per lb to reflect the year-to-date impact of higher fuel prices and Zambian kwacha rates as well as potential further impact if current fuel prices and Zambian kwacha rates persist for the remainder of the year."
