Clearmind Medicine (CMND) filed a Hong Kong patent application for novel psychedelic compounds targeting post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health disorders, the company said Monday.
The filing expands Clearmind's global IP portfolio under its exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with Yissum, granting the company rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize compounds.
Clearmind said the Hong Kong filing strengthens its patent coverage as it advances non-hallucinogenic neuroplastogen-derived treatments for alcohol use disorder, addicting and weight management.
Shares of Clearmind were down more than 2% in recent premarket activity Monday.
