Cielo Waste Solutions Appoints Ivy Chan as CFO

Cielo Waste Solutions (CMC.V) appointed Ivy Chan as its chief financial officer, effective Sept. 1, it said Tuesday.

Chan succeeds Jasdeep Dhaliwal whose departure as CFO, effective Sept. 1, was announced previously, said the company.

Chan has more than 25 years of experience across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, leading "large-scale strategic projects" across energy transition, infrastructure, and petrochemical sectors, added the company.

"She is an engineer by training with an MBA and experience on large capital projects, which means she understands both what we are building and how it gets financed," said Chief Executive Officer Ryan C. Jackson. "That is exactly the skill set required as we advance our portfolio of clean fuels projects."

Silver Storm Mining Closes Final Tranche of Private Placement, Raises Total C$21 Million

Silver Storm Mining (SVRS.V) said Monday it closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$6.38 million. The company issued 12.75 million units at C$0.50 apiece in the second tranche.Together with the first tranche, Silver Storm issued a total of 42 million units for aggregate gross proceeds of C$21 million.Silver Storm said it plans to use the net proceeds mainly for surface and underground drilling at the La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex and for working capital.
