Chinese Universe Publishing and Media Group Issues 1 Billion Yuan of Bonds

Chinese Universe Publishing and Media Group (SHA:600373) issued 1 billion yuan of 366-day bonds, according to a Thursday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The bonds are the first tranche of its medium-term debts. They hold a coupon rate of 1.42% and are redeemable July 25, 2027.

Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SHA:600000) is the bookkeeping manager and lead underwriter, while China Everbright Bank (HKG:6818, SHA:601818) is the joint lead underwriter of the issuance.

Shares rose 2% during afternoon trading on Thursday.

United Microelectronics Board OKs Up to NT$1.7 Billion Investment in Private Equity Fund

United Microelectronics (TPE:2303) board approved an investment of up to NT$1.7 billion in private equity fund TGVest Asia Partners III (Taiwan), according to a Wednesday Taiwan Exchange filing.The investment will be made through capital contributions based on capital call notices under the fund's limited partnership agreement.The funds will be used as a long-term investment, it said.
