China Telecom (HKG:0728, SHA:601728) reported 19.6 billion yuan in profit attributable to equity holders for the first half, compared with 23 billion yuan a year ago, a Thursday filing showed.
EPS moved to 0.21 yuan from 0.25 yuan year over year.
For the six months ended June 30, operating revenue was 260.5 billion yuan, versus 271.5 billion yuan previously, the Chinese telco said.
The company declared an interim dividend representing an increase of 3pp year over year to 0.1606 yuan per share for the period, payable by Oct. 13 to shareholders of record as of Sept. 9.
