China's total social financing (TSF), a broad measure of credit and liquidity in the economy, fell to 1.41 trillion yuan in July from 3.36 trillion yuan in June, according to data from the People's Bank of China (PBOC) late Friday.
The latest print missed the consensus forecast of 1.2 trillion yuan tracked by Trading Economics.
For the first seven months of the year, total social financing stood at 22.25 trillion yuan.
