China's express delivery industry handled over 100 billion parcels by the end of June, reaching the threshold nine days ahead of the previous year's pace, according to state media Xinhua.
The State Post Bureau attributed the accelerated growth to a string of consumption-boosting policies rolled out since the start of the year, which have revitalized household spending and reshaped consumption patterns.
Behind the surge is a broader push toward greener logistics. Industry-wide packaging standardization now stands at 86%, with recycled cartons deployed more than 1.6 billion times. The sector has also put over 75,000 new-energy vehicles on the road.
