China's annual consumer inflation decelerated to 1% in June, according to data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on Thursday.
The reading was softer than the consensus forecast of 1.1% tracked by Investing.com, and compared with the 1.2% pace recorded in the previous month.
On a month-over-month basis, China's headline inflation fell 0.3%, sharper than the 0.1% drop between April and May.
