China Merchants Shekou (SHE:001979) posted a contracted sales amount of 20.9 billion yuan in May, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Wednesday.
The property developer recorded a contracted sales area of 655,100 square meters for the month.
The company also bought a real estate project in China's Xihu District for 1.22 billion yuan in April. The project has a land area measuring 28,700 square meters and a gross floor area of 86,100 square meters.

Posco Holdings (KRX:005490) disclosed a serious industrial accident at its Shinansan Line l, which left one worker dead, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.The worker fell from a height during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft on Tuesday.
