China Literature Boosts Stake in Game Developer; Shares Up 3%

China Literature's (HKG:0772) operating entity in China, Shanghai Hongwen Networking Technology, agreed to acquire 28.22% equity interest in game developer Wuhan YHKT Entertainment, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the online literature platform were down nearly 3% in Wednesday afternoon trading.

Following completion of the purchase from Linzhi Lichuang Information Technology for 400.8 million yuan, China Literature will own a 59.7% stake in the target firm.

The acquisition is expected to boost China Literature's competitive advantages in building a leading IP industry value chain, the filing said.

Linzhi Lichuang Information Technology is ultimately controlled by Tencent (HKG:0700), which is the controlling shareholder of China Literature.

Indian Government Exercises Greenshoe Option for NHPC OFS; Shares Up 4%

The Indian government has exercised a 3% oversubscription option for its share sale in hydropower company NHPC (NSE:NHPC, BOM:533098), according to a Tuesday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.The company's shares were up 4% in recent trade.With this, the government's total stake on offer was raised to 6% from the base issue of 3%, with a total offer size of 602.7 million equity shares.The sale was launched on June 2 with a floor price of 71 rupees per share. Retail investors and eligible employees will be able to participate in the OFS on June 3."A total of 6,02,70,210 Equity Shares i.e. 10% equity shares of the offer, would be reserved for retail investors, subject to receipt of valid bids," the statement said.

Man Wah Weighs Beijing Listing for Remacro Technology

Man Wah (HKG:1999) is considering a public offering and listing transfer of Remacro Technology, a non-wholly owned subsidiary quoted on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations, to the Beijing Stock Exchange, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.The company said the proposed listing remains at a preliminary stage and no application has been submitted to either the Hong Kong or Beijing stock exchanges.Remacro Technology began trading on the NEEQ in March, the filing said.
