China CITIC Bank (SHA:601998, HKG:0998) raised 5 billion yuan via the issue of a three-year bond carrying a coupon rate of 1.56%.
Proceeds will be used to optimize the bank's asset-liability matching structure, increase stable liability sources and support asset business development, according to a Tuesday aftermarket filing with the Shanghai bourse.
Shares of the bank were down 1% in recent trade on the Hong Kong bourse.
