China Bester Group Telecom Bags Bid for Computing Power Hub Project for 740 Million Yuan; Shares Up 10%

China Bester Group Telecom (SHA:603220) won the bid for the Hubei Yichang Dianjun Huayun Intelligent Computing Power Hub Center Project for 739.7 million yuan, according to a Shanghai bourse filing on Wednesday.

Hubei Huayun Computing Power Investment and Construction is the project's owner.

The work will include the installation and commissioning of computing cluster equipment, as well as electromechanical works for the data center.

The telecommunications company's shares jumped 10% during the afternoon trade.

Posco Holdings Reports One Death in Shinansan Line Accident

Posco Holdings (KRX:005490) disclosed a serious industrial accident at its Shinansan Line l, which left one worker dead, according to a Wednesday filing with the Korea Exchange.The worker fell from a height during electrical work preparation in a vertical shaft on Tuesday. The cause of the fall hasn't been identified yet, the filing said.Police and the Ministry of Employment and Labor are investigating the incident, and accident prevention measures are being written to prevent a recurrence, it said.
