Equinor (EQNR.OL) renewed major supplier contracts totaling 17 billion Norwegian kroner to support continued production on the Norwegian continental shelf.The agreements, awarded through corporate framework arrangements, cover drilling and well services as well as specialist services, the energy company said Monday.Baker Hughes Norge, Halliburton, and SLB Norge were awarded contracts for drilling and well services. These companies, along with 15 additional suppliers, also secured contracts for specialist services.The renewals form part of Equinor's strategy to sustain production at 1.2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day through 2035, with new wells expected to contribute about 70% of output by that time.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage (KRX:005300) posted first-quarter net income attributable to shareholders of 24.4 billion won, up 248% from 7.0 billion won a year earlier, according to a Monday filing with the Korea Exchange.The South Korean beverage firm's sales rose 4.6% year over year to 952.5 billion won from 910.3 billion won.Shares of Lotte Chilsung Beverage rose more than 3% at market close.
