Chengtun Mining (SHA:600711) subsidiary Shengfengyuan will acquire 65% of Tibet Haiteng Industrial for 708.5 million yuan, gaining a lead-zinc exploration project in Lhasa, Tibet.
The mine hosts 1,140 tons of silver, 196,992 tons of lead and 332,546 tons of zinc resources, according to a Friday filing with the Shanghai bourse.
The transaction values 100% equity of Tibet Haiteng Industrial at 1.09 billion yuan.
Shares of the miner declined 1% in recent trade.
