CGN New Energy (HKG:1811) generated 1,560.2 gigawatt-hours of power in May, down 9.5% from a year earlier, according to a Wednesday filing with the Hong Kong bourse.
Of the total, power generated from Chinese solar projects and hydro projects increased 44% and 41%, respectively.
Output from Chinese wind projects and Korean projects fell 22% and 8.7%, respectively.
Power generation for the first five months of the year amounted to 7,975.8 GWh, down 2.4% from a year earlier.
