Centaurus Metals (ASX:CTM) said its wholly-owned Brazilian unit, Centaurus Níquel, which controls its Jaguar nickel sulfide project in Brazil, was selected by the state of Pará to receive state tax incentives in respect to the project's development, starting immediately, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The incentive is applicable to the state tax on operations involving the sale of goods and interstate and intermunicipal transport and communication services known as ICMS.
Its shares rose 1% in recent trading on Monday.
