Capcom (TYO:9697) posted a 69.2% year-over-year increase in profit attributable to owners of the parent to 29.16 billion yen for the three months ended June 30 from 17.24 billion yen.
The video game company's basic earnings per share increased to 69.71 yen from 41.21 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Tuesday.
Net sales jumped 54.7% to 70.41 billion yen during the period from 45.50 billion yen in the year-ago period.
For the full fiscal year ending March 31, 2027, the company expects attributable profit of 58 billion yen, basic EPS of 138.65 yen, and net sales of 210 billion yen.
Capcom plans to pay a second quarter-end dividend of 23 yen per share for the current fiscal year.
