Desjardins raised its price target on the shares of Canadian Tire (CTC-A.TO) to C$217.00 from C$200.00 on Tuesday.
Analyst Chris Li maintained a buy rating on shares of the retailer ahead of its second-quarter results on August 13.
"We expect results to reflect continuing benefits from True North initiatives (modest margin expansion and good SG&A control), resilient consumer demand, value-enhancing initiatives and a World Cup boost (SportChek), partly offset by a tough 2Q25 CTR comp, a delayed spring, rising cost pressures and growth investments," Li said in a note to clients.
