The company expects to complete definitive agreements with SMS Equipment and Komatsu by the first quarter of 2027. A construction decision on Crawford is scheduled in 2027.
Canada Nickel said Komatsu's automation and electrification technology complements with the company's goal to make the Crawford project one of the world's most advanced mining operations.
The company's shares closed down CA0.01 to CA$1.41 Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
