Canada Nickel (CNC.V) has extended the repayment date of the $32 million loan facility with privately-held Auramet International by three months, to November 9, the company said Tuesday.
The company will pay an extension fee of $856,288 and grant 5.5 million one-year share purchase warrants to Auramet. Each warrant can buy a share at C$1.52.
Chief executive Mark Selby confirmed that Canada Nickel is in the final stage of the federal permitting process for the Crawford Nickel Project in Ontario. It expects to receive the decision statement from the federal environment minister "shortly".
