Buffalo Potash (BUFF.V) is mobilizing a drill rig to develop the initial production module at the Disley property in Saskatchewan.
As part of the initial work, Buffalo Potash will drill two vertical wells to further confirm its geological understanding of the site, the company said Tuesday.
The initial production module has a lower initial capital expenditure requirement compared to a full project buildout. It is expected to produce 125,000 tonnes per annum of soluble-grade potash, with first output targeted in the first quarter of 2027.
