Brookfield Renewable Partners Issuing C$750 Million of Green Bonds

Brookfield Renewable Partners (BEP-UN.TO) overnight Thursday said it is issuing C$750 million of green bonds.

The notes comprise C$400 million of Series 21 Notes, due Aug. 13, 2036, bearing annual interest at 4.95% and C$350 million of Series 22 Notes, due Aug. 13, 2031, with an interest rate of 4.26% per year.

Proceeds will fund eligible investments under Brookfield's Green Financing Framework.

The Notes have been rated BBB+ by S&P Global Ratings, BBB (high) with a stable trend by DBRS, and BBB+ by Fitch Ratings, a statement said.

Brookfield Renewable shares closed down C$0.92 to C$45.50 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Muyuan Foods (SHE:002714, HKG:2714) completed the issuance of 1 billion yuan of short-term bonds, according to a Friday filing with the Shenzhen bourse.The bonds have a term of 270 days and an interest rate of 1.70%. The bonds are the first tranche of its rural revitalization bond program.Bank of China (HKG:3988, SHA:601988) is the lead underwriter, with Industrial Bank (SHA:601166), China Bohai Bank (HKG:9668), China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939), and CITIC Bank (HKG:0998, SHA:601998) as the joint lead underwriters.
