Brookfield to Acquire Plumbing Manufacturer Reliance Worldwide

Brookfield (BN.TO) has agreed to acquire 100% of Reliance Worldwide, a manufacturer of plumbing and heating solutions, in a deal worth $2.8 billion, the company said Tuesday.

Reliance's board has unanimously recommended that shareholders vote in favor of the all-cash proposal of $3.38 per share.

The investment will be funded through the Brookfield Capital Partners strategy and its affiliate Brookfield Business Corporation. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions and approvals.
